Year 10 Spanish Residential Trip to Barcelona – February 2026

In February 2026, Year 10 Spanish students took part in an exciting residential study trip to Barcelona, immersing themselves in Spanish language and culture over four memorable days.

During the visit, students explored some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including a guided tour of the magnificent Sagrada Familia and a visit to the famous Nou Camp stadium. They also experienced authentic Spanish traditions, enjoying a vibrant Flamenco show and dining at a range of local restaurants, including a Tapas evening.

The trip provided a fantastic opportunity for students to practise their Spanish in real-life situations, helping to build confidence and deepen their understanding of the language. Alongside the organised activities, students developed independence while experiencing everyday life in Barcelona.

The visit was a great success, offering a rich blend of educational and cultural experiences that were enjoyed by all students and staff involved.
