Year 10 Design Museum Trip, London – March 2026
In March 2026, Year 10 students took part in an inspiring educational visit to the Design Museum in London. The trip was designed to enhance students’ understanding of both historical and contemporary design, supporting their learning and development for the NEA component of their course.
Throughout the day, students engaged in a hands-on design workshop, explored key exhibitions at the Design Museum, and completed a self-guided tour focusing on influential designers and design movements. The visit also included time at the Victoria and Albert Museum, where students were able to further investigate a wide range of design and creative artefacts.
The experience provided valuable insight into the world of design, helping students to develop critical thinking, creativity, and practical skills. It was a highly successful and enriching trip that was enjoyed by all students and staff involved.
