Super Curriculum

At King Edward VI School we nurture curiosity and a love of learning. This is why we push students to engage in activities aimed at sparking deep academic interest. All students are welcome to engage with our Super Curriculum opportunities. We also target students with high academic potential to push themselves and step out of their comfort zone. We prepare our strongest learners for A level, EPQ, and university success while in KS3 and 4.

The following weekly activities are highly recommended as part of our Super Curriculum:

  • Debate Club: Tuesday A22 3.45 – 5pm
  • German: Tuesday lunchtime in A122
  • Creative Writing Club: Wednesday lunchtime A102
  • Axiom Maths Club (Year 7): Thursday lunchtime M5
  • Mary Wollstonecraft Society: Friday lunchtime C200

In addition, we have Super Curriculum activities for students to engage with in the Library or at home. Some require parental support.
