Report a Concern

Are you interesting in volunteering at a playgroup for children and young adults with SEND? Year 10/11

Are you doing your Duke of Edinburgh award, or have an interest in the industry and want to go on to study Health and social care and are wanting to gain some experience?

Brightstars are always looking for new volunteers aged 14 or older, to come and help them at the club in a volunteers play assistants role. You will be asked to fill in a volunteer’s registration pack, you’ll need a reference (someone who can talk about why you might be good at the job), and complete some online safeguarding training. You will then receive some uniform and have the option of what sessions you help with. You will need to have a DBS check if 16 or older, and Brightstars will pay for all of the above.

Brightstars run their groups on alternate Saturdays, throughout the year and are based at: The Bury Community HUB, Hollow Road, Bury St Edmunds. IP32 7AY.

If you are interested, please see Miss Granger in the Library for more information.
