Year 11 – Remote Learning
Y11 Remote Learning Tasks 2021
Following an unusual end to your final GCSE year we have collected some work for you to complete up until your final day on Friday 25 June. The materials here are devised to enable you to work selectively and independently on studies that you are continuing with. We hope that this will help to support you with your preparation for A Levels and further studies next year. This work will also be shared with you via MS Teams.
We have also worked with our Further Education providers for the destinations where most of you are travelling to next. For these, you will be invited to open days and then provided with more bespoke study tasks that will prepare you for your next courses. See link to Year 11 Leavers – Next Steps below for more information about destinations and careers.
The important thing to remember is that your teachers, tutors and pastoral teams are still here at school for you should you need them. Please do get in contact with us should you need to, if you have any questions, or if there is something worrying you.
If you have questions about your study tasks, wish to discuss your answers, or need more, please email your teachers directly using your school email (Outlook) account.
You will continue to have access to your GCSE learning materials that have been shared on MS Teams under the Files tabs should you wish to refer back to your GCSE content in preparation for A Levels and vocational courses. This can help you to consolidate your prior learning to ensure that A Level work is less challenging for you.
