Supporting the Most Able

Recognising the need to challenge our most able students

At King Edward VI School we believe that all students are entitled to educational provision which enables them to develop their full potential and to work at the highest level in line with their ability and interest. We believe that this should take place across all areas of academic achievement and should also be part of their personal and social development.

  • History and Archaeology Day, provided by the University of Cambridge
  • Visit to Cambridge University College to give students a flavour of university life
  • Year 10 Challenge Days and College lectures at Cambridge University and the University of East Anglia
