Food & Nutrition Technician

Grade 3 SCP 4 – 6
20 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
£8834 – £9197 (actual) per year
Required for September start

Your role/responsibilities
If you are enthusiastic, positive and have knowledge and an interest in Food and Nutrition and supporting young people we would like to hear from you. The technician will be a key member of the department who will work closely with teaching staff to support and develop the work of the department, assisting with practical lessons when required. This will include preparation, weighing and measuring of ingredients, ordering ingredients, maintenance and cleaning of the room and resources and providing general class support.

You will need:
• Excellent organisational skills
• Self-motivation and confidence
• Good communication skills – working with both students and staff
• Good IT skills
• The ability to work as part of a team
