Health & Care Academy Virtual WEX – April 2022
For young people aged 14-18 years old who are living or educated in Suffolk or North East Essex:
The Suffolk and North East Essex Health and Care Academy are running a 4 day programme of virtual work experience (on MS Teams) from Monday 11 April to Thursday 14 April from 10am – 12.30pm.
The planned programme will provide insights into a range of popular careers, including Nuclear Medicine, Ambulance Service, Nursing and Midwifery and Mental Health. You will learn about NHS values and be advised on applying for healthcare degree courses in future. The final session will be delivered by Medical Students volunteering with Street Doctor and they will deliver two first aid in the community sessions on head and bleeding injuries.
