Summer Tasks

The jump from Year 11 to 12 is a big one. To help students prepare for A-level, hit the ground running in September and build wider subject knowledge that will be vital for future success, we have devised a series of Summer Tasks for each subject. Students applying to the Sixth Form will need to complete these tasks prior to joining in September. Subject teachers will collect the work and provide feedback. The completed tasks will benefit students and will help teachers to appreciate students’ skills and knowledge on entry to the Sixth Form.

Reading is an integral part of being a Sixth Former. Each subject has put together a Wider Reading list which includes a range of books of different levels, topics and styles. These readings will help deepen your understanding, sharpen your communication skills and build your subject knowledge.
